Online Marketing at Media Experts has skyrocketed in the past year, and we’re looking to expand our teamThe new Search Marketing Analyst (SEO/PPC) will be an integral team member, working closely with our account teams. 

 

A bit about the job responsibilities:  

  • Develop, implement, manage, optimize, and report on Pay per Click (PPC) campaigns for various customers across a variety of online publishers including Google, BING, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.  
  • Perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO) audits and provide recommendations to help improve the quantity and quality of organic traffic to customer websites. 
  • Conduct keyword research, analysis, bucketing, and matching in order to develop quality keyword lists for both PPC and SEO purposes.  
  • Create promotional text ads for use with a variety of campaigns across different publishers. 
  • Developimplement, and maintain Link Building Programs for SEO customers.  
  • Monitor and report on SEO and PPC campaign performance through the use of Web Analytics, Software, Bid Management Platforms and Organic Ranking programs. 
  • Communicate effectively with internal account teams (offline and online) to make sure integrated marketing campaigns preserve a 100% integrated approach. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in the Search Marketing industry in North America through constant research, article reading, webinars, and industry events.

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Search Marketing (SEO/PPC). 
  • Minimum of 1 year of client service and/or customer management experience. 
  • Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing SEO/PPC campaigns. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French & English. 
  • Strong analytical and research skills with an innate ability to think outside the box. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a very fast paced environment. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, and comScore. 
  • Experience using Ad Serving technologies like DART Search and DFA is an asset. 
  • Google Adwords Advanced Certification and MSN AdCenter Certificate is an asset. 
  • Knowledge of Social Media Marketing is an asset. 
  • Experience with A/B and/or Multivariate testing concepts is an asset.

We are looking to expand our team of Search Marketing experts in our Montreal office, located in the city’s burgeoning tech neighbourhood, Mile Ex. The Coordinator, Search Marketing Systems will be an integral member of the Search Experts™ team, work closely with our Digital Media Systems and Planning Teams and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist on all administrative functions of the Search Marketing Systems department. These may include proof of purchase reports, reconciling campaigns, media purchase authorizations, budget pacing reports and more.
  • Help Analysts (PPC and SEO) with keyword research, creative writing, ad copy testing, day-to-day management of pay per click campaigns, optimization implementations, data analysis, reporting, power point presentations, local listings management, other media integration and more.

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Financial Accounting Analyst to join our team in Montreal’s burgeoning tech neighborhood, Mile Ex.

A bit about the role:

Reporting directly to the Financial Analyst, the role of the Junior Financial Analyst is to support and participate in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting process. This means collaborating with various team leads and members, and demonstrating strong organizational skills, an ability to meet tight deadlines, and working independently and within a team.  As such, the successful candidate will possess and exhibit a high degree of professionalism in their conduct and communications.

What you’d be doing day-to-day:

  • Working with the Shared Service G/L team to ensure all month-end provisions are properly booked, and all balance sheet accounts are reconciled appropriately with sufficient back-up.
  • Monitoring client accounts receivable (A/R) aging and follow-up with shared services collections and/or client service teams to ensure receivable balances do not exceed contractual terms.
  • Liaising with client on any PO issues, billing issues, accounts receivable statements.
  • Liaising with suppliers on account payable issues.
  • Ensure internal tools, Hyperion and Vantage (SAP), schedules are loaded and consolidated appropriately.
  • Proactively present well-researched ideas to streamline and improve upon existing processes, and/or provide innovative analytical insights.
  • Utilizing accounting system to pull financial data to support the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting process, and
  • Assisting the Financial Analyst and the overall team as needed on ad-hoc projects and assignments which are within the scope of the role.

You’d be a perfect fit if you already have:

  • A post-secondary education – university/college graduate in Finance or Accounting, Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preference of being in process of obtaining an accounting designation.
  • Up to one year of experience in a similar finance role, preferably within a media agency, marketing, or advertising setting.

We are actively seeking a Media Audience Specialist in our Montreal office. The ideal candidate will become an integral member of our Digital Media Systems team while also working closely with our customers and account teams. 

 

 What you’d be doing day-to-day: 

  • Strategic ownership of agency portion of customer DMP and audiences. 
  • Proactive segment development within customers DMP’s. 
  • Work with Media Systems Design Director and Special Business Unit Leads to set strategic direction and priorities for audience targeting. 
  • Work with all stake holders to understand and identify opportunities for prospecting, cross-selling, upselling and retention. 
  • Optimize campaigns for delivery and performance, evaluate and develop segments for sales based on opportunity, revenue potential, scale, performance, competitive differentiation etc. 
  • Champion data integrations for customer and extend audience development beyond typical online channels. 
  • Work with BI, Analytics, and Research throughout campaign life cycle. 
  • Perform analysis on campaign performance and provide recommendations 
  • Manage data attributes/traits for media activation. 
  • Work to set strategic direction on key categories of data needed to maximize audience targeting. 
  • Develop consolidated cross-channel audience performance reporting to keep track of audience performance. 
  • Identify new and critical data attributes, e.g. consumer database attributes, client data, new partner data, offline-online data matching, cross-platform data matching. 
  • Own the dynamic creative strategy including dynamic creative platforms, audience triggers, optimization and reporting.
